Just set A record of your domain as: 64.191.108.204, then let us know.

If you can not set A record, then please read the following.

To setup your domain for your phpbb3 forum, you need do the following:
1. Set the A record of your domain name as: 64.191.108.204
To do this, you need some a DNS service provider. There are many free DNS service providers; just google it with key words like "free dns service". We do NOT recommend nor provide support on these free DNS services because they are beyond our control. You can check with the service provider for instructions on how to set a A Record (it is very simple).
Or, you can try some commercial DNS services. We are part of PTRhosting, who provides DNS services for $2/year. You can check it at: http://domains.ptrhosting.com

2. AFTER you can verify your domain name is pointing to our ip address (it may take up to 72 hours for DNS info to propagate) , let us know your domain name, and the forum name. We will set it up for you.

Hi.. I pointed A record to your record value.

My domain : http://www.sbksmirc.co.cc

Forum name : sbksmirc.yap365.com

Can you now setup my domain to my forum on your server? Also 2 more questions:
1. How to take backup of my forum.. As there is no option of backup in maintenance section of admin panel..

2. How to install my own styles? As you have mentioned that users can install their own styles..

Waiting for your reply..

For the templates, you can choose from the pre-installed ones. In addition, you can edit the CSS and graphics, including the logo, of most templates. You can not upload your templates. If you want to use a special template, please send it to us and we can install it for your forum.

For the backup, we do daily backups (direct copying) for all forums. Because database backup is resource-extensive process(imaging, 10 simultaneous backups may crash the server) , users are not allowed to make backups.

For your domain, it seems you only setup A record for sbksmirc.co.cc, not www.sbksmirc.co.cc. if you want to use www.sbksmirc.co.cc, you need setup A record for www.sbksmirc.co.cc, or set a CNAME for it. Anyway, now sbksmirc.co.cc is working now.

Because database backup for individual forum need considerable resources (it is different from backup whole database; in whole database backup, we only need copy files directly and use incremental backup), we can provide database backup of each forum no more than once every two months for free. If you want a copy now, you can not request again in next 60 days. Please note, we already make backups for all forums, it is absolutely NOT necessary for you to keep a copy unless you plan to move your forum elsewhere. Anyway, it is up to you.

The template was installed for you. You can install it in your admin panel. Please note, you can also edit any templates (CSS, graphics)

For your domain, you'd better set an A record for both of sbksmirc.co.cc and http://www.sbksmirc.co.cc. In this way, both of them will work. Otherwise only one works (currently, you only set for http://www.sbksmirc.co.cc, not sbksmirc.co.cc). Anyway, this is up to you.
